The ProSoft Technology Custom Disk is a specially designed storage solution for industrial automation applications. It is equipped with a robust, high-capacity flash disk that ensures reliable data transfer and secure storage.
This customized disk is supported by the ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB) software, offering a Windows-based graphical user interface for simple product and network configuration. It uses sample ladder logic and Add-On Instructions (AOIs) for efficient data transfer between module and processor.
The internal web server provides access to comprehensive product documentation, module status, diagnostics, and firmware updates. An intuitive 4-character alpha-numeric scrolling LED display clearly shows status and diagnostics data in plain English, eliminating the need to decipher cryptic error or alarm codes.
The ProSoft Discovery Service (PDS) software is included to help locate the module on the network and assign temporary IP addresses. This disk is a Personality Module, featuring a non-volatile industrial-grade Compact Flash (CF) card to store network and module configurations, ensuring easy disaster recovery.
Designed for harsh industrial environments, the disk operates within a wide temperature range and is certified to meet CE and RoHS standards, ensuring compliance with international safety regulations.
