The Foxboro FBM207C is the Revision C version of the Foundation Fieldbus H1 dual-channel communication module for the I/A Series DCS. The “C” revision represents a significant upgrade over the “B” revision, featuring faster communication processors, increased memory for device descriptions, improved diagnostic capabilities, and enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This module connects the I/A Series controller to Foundation Fieldbus H1 field devices, enabling full digital communication, remote configuration, and advanced diagnostics. The Revision C is the current production version and is the recommended replacement for all older FBM207B modules in existing installations.
