The Triconex 400093-346 is a high-capacity processor module for the Tricon safety system. The “346” designation indicates this processor has 2 MB of user memory, significantly more than the 510 configuration (512 KB). This extra memory is essential for large, complex safety applications that require extensive logic, many function blocks, large data tables, and multiple communication interfaces. Examples include large refinery ESD systems, integrated fire and gas systems, and complex burner management systems with dozens of burners. Like all Tricon processors, it is triple modular redundant with 2-out-of-3 voting, SIL 3 certified, and capable of executing deterministic safety logic at speeds up to 10ms scan time.
