The GE VMIVME-4150 is a premium 4-channel analog output module for VMEbus systems, designed for the most demanding process control and safety-critical applications. The “4150” designation identifies this board as a 4-channel module with the highest level of isolation and protection in the GE VME analog output family. Unlike the standard 4140, the 4150 adds redundant isolation barriers, enhanced surge protection, and continuous self-diagnostics on every channel. This board is used where a single failed output channel cannot be tolerated, such as in nuclear plant safety systems, chemical reactor control, and pharmaceutical dosing where precision and reliability are absolute requirements.
