The IC200ALG630, designed by General Electric (GE) / GE Fanuc, is a high-resolution analog input module from the VersaMax series. It provides 7 independent input channels for direct connection to thermocouple sensors or millivolt (mV) signal sources. This module plugs into GE VersaMax PLC racks, drawing power entirely from the backplane—eliminating the need for external power supplies. It performs onboard linearization and cold junction compensation (CJC) to deliver accurate, ready-to-use temperature data to the PLC CPU.
